Our Services

Leaky Sink Drain Pipe

Escape of Water

Damage caused by leaking pipes, broken appliances, or an accidental overflow of water inside the property.

We assess signs of water ingress, such as damp walls, ceilings, or flooring. We check the source of the leak, inspect any plumbing systems, and evaluate the degree of internal water damage, including possible mould growth. We arrange specialist drying to prevent secondary damage.

Fire

We inspect the property to determine the extent of the fire, heat, and smoke damage. We will check for structural issues, fire-damaged items, and any other impact on the property, including the need for professional cleaning and repairs.

Flood

Flooding occurs when water exceeds normal levels, submerging property or causing structural damage.

We asses water levels, structural integrity, and any possible contamination that may affect the property. We examine how high the water has reached, which areas of the property have been impacted, and whether any foundation or structural elements are compromised. Additional assessments are made for drying, mould remediation, and restoring electrical systems.

Subsidence & Landslip

Subsidence occurs when the ground beneath a property sinks, while a landslip is the movement of soil, typically caused by water or earth movement.

We assess subsidence damage by inspecting cracks in the foundation, walls, and floors. We look for evidence of ground movement and arrange geological surveys to determine the cause. For landslips, we check, for structural damage, the displacement of the ground, and potential risks to the stability of the property.

  • What is a Loss Assessor?
A Loss Assessor is an insurance claims expert who works solely on behalf of policyholders to ensure they receive the maximum settlement from their insurance company after a loss or damage. Unlike Loss Adjusters, who represent insurers, we act in your best interests.
  • Why should I use a Loss Assessor?
Handling an insurance claim can be complex and time-consuming. A Loss Assessor ensures that your claim is correctly presented, negotiates with the insurer, and maximises your settlement, reducing stress and saving you time.
  • How are you different from a Loss Adjuster?
A Loss Adjuster is appointed by the insurance company to assess claims and protect their interests. A Loss Assessor, on the other hand, works for you—the policyholder—to ensure you receive the best possible outcome from your claim.
  • When should I appoint a Loss Assessor?
When should I appoint a Loss Assessor? You should engage a Loss Assessor as soon as possible after an incident, ideally before making a claim. Early involvement ensures that your claim is handled correctly from the outset, preventing potential disputes or delays.
  • What types of claims do you handle?
We assist with a wide range of claims, including: Fire and smoke damage Flood and water damage Storm damage Burglary and theft Impact damage (e.g., vehicle collisions with property) Business interruption Other property-related insurance claims
  • Can you help if my claim has been rejected?
Yes. If your claim has been unfairly denied or underpaid, we can review the insurer’s decision, challenge their findings, and appeal for a fair settlement.
  • Do you only work with businesses, or can homeowners use your services?
Do you only work with businesses, or can homeowners use your services? We assist both residential and commercial policyholders. Whether you are a homeowner, landlord, or business owner, we can support with your insurance claim.
  • How much do you charge for your services?
There is no cost to you—the policyholder. Our fees are recovered from the insurance settlement by way of a referral fee for appointing a main contractor to undertake the refurbishment works. This means you receive expert claims management and support without any direct out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Do you offer a no-win, no-fee service?
    Yes.
  • How long does an insurance claim take?
The timeframe varies depending on the complexity of the claim, the insurer’s response times, and any disputes that arise. Some claims are settled within weeks, while more complex cases can take several months. We always work to secure the fastest possible resolution.
